How to Make a Firefighter Costume

Your child will be putting out fires (and raking in candy) all over the neighborhood this Halloween in this easy and cool firefighter costume.

Materials:

  • Yellow duct tape
  • Red raincoat
  • Double-sided tape
  • 1 firefighter logo printouts (Like this one)
  • Scissors
  • Black solid turtleneck
  • Black sweatpants
  • Firefighter helmet
  • Rain boots

Step 1: Attach duck tape along lower edge of raincoat as well as around each of the upper sleeves.

Step 2: Using double-sided tape, adhere firefighter logo printout to the chest of the raincoat. If the firefighter helmet doesn’t come with a logo attach one to the front of this too!

Step 3: Put on the outfit: turtleneck, raincoat, sweatpants, rain boots and helmet.

For a fun touch, have your little one carry around a silver water bucket to collect candy!
