How To Create a Sundae Station Kids Will Never Forget

How To Create a Sundae Station Kids Will Never Forget

Summer vacation means breaking some rules — and one rule that can be broken is that dessert must come after dinner. Clearly, you will need to have parental approval before doing this, but give kids a nice big, healthy lunch — and then set up this fantastic ice cream sundae bar for dinner. “Dessert” can be apples and protein-butter of your choosing!

What you need:

Quarts of three different kinds of ice cream. I like to use cookies and cream, mint chip and peanut butter swirl. But if you have some serious strawberry lovers out there, you will need to accommodate

Hot fudge, warmed or that hardened candy shell chocolate stuff or just chocolate syrup,

Caramel sauce, warmed,

Whipped cream from a can — because half the fun is getting it out

Sliced bananas

Berries

Maraschino cherries from a jar

M&Ms

Gummy bears or worms

Sprinkles

Cookie crumbles (take a bunch of store bought cookies and mash them up!)

Ice cream scooper

Now set up all of these items in small bowls, add spoons and enjoy!

What are your favorite ice cream sundae toppings?  Tell me below!
