Christmas is the most wonderful time for bringing families together. Relatives travel far and wide to be with each other and for many families it is the only get together all year. And while each family has their own set of traditions, it is safe to say that a lot of these revolve around food!
This year, we have teamed up with Dannii from Hungry Healthy Happy to bring you a delicious Christmas cookie recipe that you can bake with your family.

Christmas Spice Biscuits Recipe from Hungry Healthy Happy:
Makes 10
Ingredients:
100g plain flour
50g brown sugar
0.5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp mixed spice
75g butter
Icing and sprinkles to decorate (optional)
Method:
1) Preheat the oven to 200C.
2) In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and mixed spice.
3) Cube the butter and using your fingers mix together to form a dough.
4) Roll the dough out to 4mm thick and using cookie cutters, cut out 10 cookies.
5) Put them on a baking sheet and in the oven for 12-15 minutes until cooked.
6) Take them out of the oven and leave to cool before decorating.
**Top Tip** When making icing, instead of using icing sugar and water, swap the water for orange juice for an orange icing.
