Robin's Nest felt and still feels like family. It was a nurturing, loving environment for my son, as he grew from 4 months to 2.5 years old. Robin's Nest is a great mix of the warmth of an in-home facility, attention to safety of a dedicated daycare facility, and educational structure of a school. I loved that my son came home every day with dirt under his nails, lots of art projects, and happy stories of his friends. He enjoyed interacting with children of different ages, playing outside in the outdoor area, and even helping to raise vegetables and chickens. He still asks to go to Robin's Nest every morning, despite having transitioned months ago to a new school.

We loved our time here at Robin's Nest! Both munchkins were here from birth to Kindergarten and then some. They are definitely an extended family for us and we hope to keep in touch!

Our daughter starting going to Robin's Nest at 7 months old. Transitioning to a daycare can be so hard but the staff at Robin's Nest and especially Renee, the owner, made it so easy. I felt comfortable knowing there was a secure pickup/dropoff process where parents had to enter a code. The app they use allows me to know exactly what is going on in her day from how much she ate and what (which helps when planning dinner), how long she slept, how many diapers she went through and pictures throughout the day. I knew right away that this was the perfect choice for us. It's a great mix between the commercial daycares and an at home daycare. The staff is amazing. We also use a few of the teachers as babysitters for the weekends! I would highly recommend Robin's Nest to anyone looking for a homey atmosphere for their child.

Attentive to children and responsive to parents. Clean and open area inside and 2x backyard space. Play-based with educational curriculum for appropriately aged children. Caring and professionally run in a large Potomac home. It is family owned. Babies to preschoolers. Flexible and drop in availability. Reasonably priced.

My daughter is 14 months old and has been here for about 9 months. With my husband's crazy work schedule, this is the one and only place fkexible enough for us. Rates are beyond reasonable. Each child is treated as an individual and is encouraged to learn and play at his or her pace. The staff is kind and informative. The space is clean without the hospital feel or smell. Menus are prepared by thoughtful staff. We love it!

My daughter has been at Robins Nest for a few months now, and we have been really pleased. They helped us transition through her separation anxiety and now she is very well adjusted to the environment and caretakers. The outdoor space is great, she brings home lots of arts and crafts, and is well fed and cared for. The staff put on fun activities for the kids and their families for holidays/events, such as Halloween and Christmas (ex: Santa came to school, they had a Halloween party with a magician and other activities), which are really fun as well. I also like the online log that is utilized and can be accessed remotely, so I can see what my daughter has been up to and what she has been eating/drinking. They have a private facebook page for parents, where you can see pics of your kids and others having fun during circle time or outside. They are very flexible with part time schedules and very reasonably priced, which can be hard to find. It's a great mix between an in home day care and a child care center--taking on the best of both environments. Overall, it is a great spot!

When we originally looked at Robin's Nest for our 3 month old daughter I was hesitant. I had always intended to get a nanny but was convinced that an outside daycare may be more appropriate for our child. Upon meeting Robin and Renee I was immediately at ease. Their commitment and love for the children at the facility were more than apparent. My daughter has been with Robin since she was three months old and she is now three years old! The daycare resides on the lower level of Robin's house. I really liked this as I felt like Robin was bringing the children into her home and family. Further, her and Renee provide healthy home cooked food for the children for breakfast, lunch, and snack. Robin's backyard compares to nothing else out there. Mostly shaded, she has tons of playground equipment and open field space for running around. My daughter especially loves the neighbor's horse who often comes for a visit in the warmer weather. My daughter is always excited to go to Robin's house and she clearly learns a lot while she is there. At a very early age she knew her numbers, colors, and shapes. I fully believe Robin and her staff are responsible for this. I would highly recommend Robin's Nest for any family who is looking at daycare. Your child will be well- cared for and loved, guaranteed!

I take my goddaughter here. She is a boisterous, spirited 2 year old and she is happy as a clam. She enjoys the outdoor space, gets alot of reading time. She comes home talking about all of her best friends at the daycare. It seems like they have a great group of kids that attend. The facility is very clean and the staff are very attentive to her. The staff have been employed at Robin's Nest for a long time so its great it feels like such a family there. The location is very convenient to my work and I really feel like I would not take her anywhere else!

Robin's Nest daycare is a beautiful environment for children. Robin and her daughter Renee run this family business. They are caring, yet professional and incorporate learning in with play in children's daily activities. Renee is a foodie so tries to make the children's lunches healthy and interesting. The daycare is newly refurbished in peaceful, soft colors and has a wonderful backyard play area that children love to play in. The nursery has photos taken that are posted to the dailyconnect website so parents can see what their children are doing. There are generations of families who return to Robin's Nest as friends.

We have been a part of the Robins Nest family for over 5 years. My oldest is about to enter kindergarten. We have always been very happy with the care that our children have received. Robin's Nest is a very loving and safe environment. The kids have a great time playing on the playground and running around in the big field. The lunch provided daily is always nutritious and well rounded. There is also diversity among the age groups which allows for enhancement of social skills. We have complete trust in the staff and feel comfortable leaving our kids there.

My family has been with Robins Nest for over seven years now, since before my first child turned two. All four of my children love the family friendly environment and consider many of the caregivers family. Most importantly my wife and I feel safe leaving our children there.
