Dear Deshondra B.I'm sorry for your poor experience on 2/10/2015 at Primary Stages Inc. I would have loved to have continued care for your child which is why I allowed her to stay without payment that day while you gathered her weekly tuition. I understand times get difficult but tuition is due on Fridays for the following week. Becoming irate and making false claims helps no one and is unacceptable in front of children, which is why you were asked to leave.Yes we spoke briefly days before about the posted changes and your weekly payment where I was told payment with the late fee would be given.Unfortunately due to a late tuition payment on your end and our policy for non payment, this wasn't appeasing to you to say the least. Yes a letter to all parents was posted on the first explaining positive changes in management, curriculum, staff, equipment, and decor were to take place over the next month. I do belive change is inevitable and along with change comes some uncertainty. Please rest assured that to any one reading this post that God is completely in control of our school. I am a 5 th generation of childcare providers with 20 years+ experience in my field. My educational background is in early chilcare developement as well as me solely operating a childcare center for 6 years in Plano,Texas. My main focus is to provide the absolute best care for our younger generation and promote positive, creative, healthy, thinkers. Yes... I'm growing why??? Children with great imagination. Growing King and Queens. Our new staff will reflect this change, which our meet and greet 2/27/15, was also stated in our posted signed letter. Change will not happen over night. There must be transition. I'm aware that some are not acceptable to change and policy but I firmly approve of the new program that is now in place. I wish you all the best in finding the appropriate childcare center to fit your needs. Have a blessed day----------

I recently pulled my daugter out of this school. The changed the owners over to another person and did not make anyone aware of the change. I pick my daugter and all her close are soaked and wet. Mind you my daughter is potty trained and will tell you when she needs to go potty until she can not anymore. I spoke to the "new director" and she completly had a full attitude with me when I confronted her on this matter. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint against this daycare due to the fact that I do not play when it comes to my daugther and her well being period.
Hello, I currently have two children that attend this daycare. Both have been there since they were infants (6 weeks old to be exact). Both of my kids LOVE this school and their teachers dearly. My youngest is not old enough to talk yet but my daughter comes home on a regular basis and uses new words and terms that we dont normally use around the house so I am 100% confident that the school is doing a more than adequate job of teaching the children. My 4 year old comes home every Friday with projects that focus on the one or two letters of the alphabet (for example an insect made out of toilet paper rolls during the week they were focusing on the letter "I"). I think it is pretty obvious that the two women talking negatively below are trying to portray the daycare in an ugly light because of PERSONAL matters. "T" (whoever that is cant use their real name) seems like they are mad because miss LAtanya wouldnt give her a FREE HANDOUT on daycare. And then it looks like they turned around and got someone else who couldnt put their real name to get on here and write a bogus review as well. I mean, seriously? DISSTERBED????? I would be upset too if i couldnt even spell DISTURBED correctly and i expected a DAYCARE facility to teach my children the things i couldnt. Their review is lacking intelligence in itself and it seems like they themselves, might be the "GETTO" (btw, i think it is spelled Ghetto) ones in these circumstances. I would recommend anyone to go to this daycare. Me and my children have been here for 4 years and we are not going anywhere and I would be happy to vouche for them if anybody would like to contact me personally, my email is Thank you!
I love this daycare. This was the first and only daycare my daughter has ever been too. Before she went here she wasn't very friendly with other children her age and she was scared of other littler kids. Now she loves all kids. She loves all her teachers there. My child has made so many friends and I love it for her! All the teachers here are very PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY. I've never had ONE bad experience with any of them. Some people on here are saying it smells bad? Well hey, it's a daycare and there are kids pooping and peeing all day. Every night when I walk in there it smells clean because the teachers have more time to clean their rooms (sweep, mop, wipe things down, etc.) because there are less kids at that time. I think they are doing a great job here! I see the same people every day and they are ATTENDING to their kids in the classroom. I have seen the kids in the 4-5 classroom learning to WRITE. I've seen it multiple times. I know my daughter has learned such great manners from this please. She always says please and thank you. She has recently started saying yes ma'am and no ma'am. I know she learned that from her teachers and I'm so thankful for that. Each teacher knows EVERY KID THAT GOES THERE AND LOVES THEM. On my way to the daycare every day all my daughter talks about is seeing her teachers. She talks about them all the time. She tells me how one teacher colors with her and reads with her. In fact, when my daughter first started there she was scared to go outside. So they let her stay in and she read books with the manager every day. They tend to each child's needs. I have never been so upset by reading the things on here. Yes, there probably is something they could do better, but who does that not apply to? No one is perfect. Get over it. Really.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with this daycare. I truly am thankful my daughter has gotten her first daycare experience with this one. She loves it. I would talk to ANYONE and their behalf.
I will tell you all right now. For a fact that everything T has said is a fact. My child has also attended this day care and it is a S--T hole. the person that opens the door in the mornings is trash who cant even get to work on time on a regular baises. She uses her time to tend to her own child who is there and disregards the other children. Not one employee can speak proper english, and are all uneducated. I HAVE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES the poor supervision. childern walking off on there own while the employees are jokeing around with eachouther and not minding the children. The owner lives in the back building of the property and will nevre face any of the issues her self. The gay son is so arrogent that he will ant take any advice from anyone. most unprofessional person I have encountered in one of the most senstive occupations there is. No direction and no curriculum. I could not stand what i saw when my child went there. Getto ass employee, drity, lazy employees just collecting a pay check or just working there because thair child is enrolled there so they get the employee disscount and the walefair disscount at the same time. Remember one thing people. This is a Goverment funded busisness do to the owener being a minorty so you get what you pay for. Also remember this is your TAX DOLLARS at work. Is places like this that are ruining this country as well as the reputation of African Americans. If you love your childern please do not let them attended this poorly run facility and report them to CPS,BBB, THE CITY or GOVERMENT.
Horrible experience!!! First off there is no real curriculum that your children are taught from. Secondly, the daycare smells like a nursing home. Supervision of the children (in the early hours) is horrible. I walked into the building one morning and there was NO teacher in the room with the children. A little girl was locked in the kitchen and was crying because she didn't know how to get back into the classroom. I brought what I needed to enroll my children and was told "I don't know where the enrollment packets are, we don't have any!" I then paid $280 for registration and the first week of service. I was told the first week was upfront and pay the next week on the next Friday.(This was on a Wednesday) The next Monday I came in to drop my children off and was told I was supposed to make a payment that last Friday for this week and if I could make the payment she (the Director, Ms. Tanya) would wave the $25 late fee. Also, she was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. She argued with me in front of another parent and employee that I did not enroll my own children into daycare. She wasn't present the day I went in. Then she stated that she needed birth certificates and shot records when I turned that in last week. Her office is very messy and unorganized to the point that my children's shot records and birth certificates were on her desk and she had no knowledge of that. She is a complete mess. I was so upset that I just took my children back home and took off work. I'm pregnant and cannot deal with the stress of ignorant, unprofessional, no class having people. I cannot believe I paid $280 for 4 days of daycare. All I wanted was to have my children closer to my home than they were and I got screwed. I have personally witnessed teachers jacking up peoples kids and whipping peoples children. If it was explained to me that EVERY week and not just the FIRST wk was in advance I would have taken care of that from the beginning. Instead of the director being professional and working with me she took up a ghetto attitude that in turn gave me one. All she had to do was say " We apologize for the inconvenience and we will accept a late payment this week but, going forward each payment must be made in advance!" Instead she said you can make it today and I will wave the $25 late fee or pay Friday and it will be $25 for Monday and $10 each additional day. I had to ask for the paper work that explained this to me just so I could be sure she was not screwing with me. Policies and Procedures are supposed to be given to each parent the day of enrollment not upon request. Business should have been handled more professionally and things like this will not happen. I'm happy that I was able to take my children back to formal childcare were they actually are on a curriculum and were my children are actually learning to write. I will NEVER recommend service here to anyone who actually cares about their child's education. As for the owner, Ms. Collins, she is just as unprofessional and ignorant. She brings personal business to the workplace and that should NEVER happen. I would have never enrolled my children if I knew the type of service I was receiving. I would also not pay a week in advance for child care at such a place. One of the teachers (Ms. Shauna) was sitting in a room (separate from the children) in the dark wrapped in what looked like a blanket or oversized coat as if she was going to sleep. She was not supervising the children. I'm wondering how they really make money there. They need to be investigated to the fullest, especially the owner and director.

The owner/director is ALWAYS on site. She is doing a great job of making the daycare better. My boys have been going here for 4 months now and they love being there. They love there teachers and they love my kids. Each room has 2 teachers in them for all the attention the kids need.

This place has many issues. Someone should have the city look into then. Very unsanitary habitts by the employes. Not enough supervission. I have never seen or met the owner/director. Goverment funding at its worse.
