Nanny Bec's Family Daycare

I have worked in all forms of childcare. I did babysitting as a teenager and in college. I worked and volunteered in Daycare Facilities. I was a summer Nanny during breaks. I realized I loved being a nanny and decided in 1991 to go to the English Nannyand Governess School. After graduating, I embarked on a wonderful adventure and career as a live-in Nanny. Then later achieving honorary Governess status because of my excellence in my field, I retired in 2000 to become a Stay at Home mom to my first son. Two sons later I am ready to start a new chapter in my life. <br/>I come from a family of nine kids and my parents we were a foster family with over 200 children being loved in our family. From this I learned to be comfortable with lots of children To be caring and giving and to be open to others' styles and feelings. As a nanny and a caregiver I feel that childcare should mold itself to the child not the other way around I am a great supporter of Attachment Parenting but I can adapt to your parenting style as I did as a nanny. I believe that Education is from Birth, just like I was taught at school. I provide an educationally rich environment that allows each child to grow at their own pace. I am very consistent with rules and my guidance of the children in my care.
