Montessori Kids Universe Hoover

Montessori Kids Universe is a student-led educational program focusing on reading, writing, math, and character development. At MKU we create a curriculum designed especially for your child allowing them to progress through the subjects at their own pace. Every day at school your child will do at least one language and math job led by our Montessori Certified guides. They will spend 3 hours every day choosing jobs and lessons that move them closer each day towards reading, counting to 100, adding, subtracting, and refining fine and gross motor skills. We also specialize in introducing our students to different cultures worldwide. We will study a different continent every month. Your student will learn to become independent and self-driven to success. We offer a warm and inviting environment where every child receives love, support, and encouragement. The school day is from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m with the bulk of Montessori-inspired work cycles and student-led education during that time. After 4 p.m. we offer another curriculum called DAVINCI Kids, which is our S.T.E.A.M program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) examples of the subjects covered during these times are Dinosaurs, Pre-History, Fall, Spring, Winter, Summer, Robots, Bugs, and Geology. Our program also caters to working parents, we open every day at 6 a.m. and close every night at 6 p.m with the option of choosing the hours needed for your families' needs.
