Safe and Secure Care EnvironmentAccept children 3 Months to 5 Years Accept Maryland Subsidized Vouchers Early Learning begins at birth through age 5; each child learns at his or her own pace. Lil' Tykes Lesson Plans are individualized by age group and the child's milestones. Lil Tykes individual learning activities are designed to help each child learn; the curriculum is flexible main concern, stimulate and encourage participation. Each child's work is praised and stickers are placed on work going home. Provider comments on the child's work lets parents know how well their child is progressing. Parents are asked to go over all work sent home and make sure your child complete his/her homework, because this helps your child excel. Nutrition: Children receive breakfast, lunch and one snack daily. Lunch includes vegetables, fruit, whole grain bread and selected meat. Breakfast includes cereals with less added sugar, fruit or pancakes, selected meat and fruit. No meals include saturated fat. All meals including snacks follow the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) nutrition standards. Each nutritious meal served plays a critical role in supporting wellness, children's health and development.
