My daughter has been attending here for a year now and I have nothing but great things to say. My daughter loves her friends and her teachers and Jessica & all the staff up front that I have ever came in contact with are so nice.
One of the things I love and that puts me at ease is they have live cameras and they also send pictures of the kids throughout the day via the app they use!! Also, They do lots of activities and things for the kids.

We're completely disappointed in the childcare we received in Happy Children's. We've had two incidents there that simply should not be ignored by any parent trying to decide which daycare/after school they want to send their kids to. This is a long review, but I truly hope our experience saves you from the potential headache that comes with enrolling your child here!

The first incident involved our then one year old son. After just two weeks (yes you read 2 weeks correctly) we had to remove him from this daycare because of an injury he suffered there. The teacher denied any wrongdoing and was not held accountable for what happened to our son while under her care. To give the owner/director, Jessica Javier, some credit, she did apologize for the incident and actually recommended that we report the incident to the police. We did just that and removed him from the school immediately. However, little did we know this would potentially come back to hurt us down the road.

Our daughter, who's older, attended Happy Children's well before our son. After thinking long and hard about removing her too, we decided to keep her enrolled here because she didn't have any issues and was able to verbalize any concerns to us if any were to come about. Fast forward to her starting kindergarten in another school the next year, we were in need of an after school program. Happy Children's was the absolute last resort, but because the other programs filled up so quickly we had no choice but to take a chance there again. After all, it's just after school and she would only be there a couple hours a day, so we thought we should be good. Apparently not...

After winter recess, Jessica made the decision to abruptly kick our child out of the after school program because apparently we were "complaining" and "asking too many questions". Excuse me, but that is OUR child! I'm sure any parent would agree that hearing this from the owner/director of the place you send your child to for any type of care is out of line. Being concerned parents about your children should NEVER be received as complaints or too many questions.

When I asked Jessica to provide examples of what we complained about, she mentioned our request to be able to walk inside the building to pick up our child, as opposed to just standing outside the door until they brought her to us. As you would imagine, I was completely taken aback by this response because when the request was made she mentioned it was no problem and unbeknownst to us, "a lot of parents were already doing this." Keep in mind, the facility still had (and probably still has) a sign stating parents are not permitted into the building due to CDC guidance/recommendation. There was no communication sent out about this and so many parents were still waiting outside, sometimes in the cold and rain, for their child to be brought to them. Of course Jessica quickly recanted her statement when it was met with so much shock, stating "well that's not really a complaint".

From there, she accused me of talking over her when in actuality it was the other way around. When I asked her to continue, she made a comment that I admittedly can't remember verbatim, but whatever it was, it made me laugh in a "are you kidding me?" type of tone because I just couldn't believe where this conversation was headed. My laughter apparently was the final straw that led to her telling me my daughter is no longer welcome.

Jessica and the rest of the staff try to put on a front as though they treat everyone like "family". As the business owner, I completely understand she has every right to make these types of decisions. However, removing a child from the program in the middle of the school year because their parents "asks too many questions", without any type of notice, is NOT what you do to "family". Jessica is completely irrational and insensitive as she made this decision without a proper explanation and without considering how this impacts us as two working parents, and most importantly, our daughter.

With all that being said, beware of this place! Some general comments... I strongly believe they don't openly welcome parents into the building because they're trying to hide the poor upkeep of the place. The facility is dated, dimly lit, and just not a welcoming atmosphere. If they were proud of their facility, they wouldn't have old signs up, giving off the impression that parents are not permitted into the building.

I don't typically leave reviews, but felt compelled to do so about this place. So do with it as you wish. Just know this is nowhere near the best daycare/school in the area. We saw that very quickly when enrolling our son elsewhere. Night and day difference!! Good luck on your search parents!!

We moved to Johns Creek in August from San Diego, and I found this daycare from a local mom group and I am so glad I did! The owners are the best! Ms. Karen and Ms. Jessica are the sweetest! The teachers are amazing! They truly care about the children. I love that they have cameras and I can check up and see how my baby is doing. They have an app that tells me when her diaper was changed, how much she ate and how long she napped. They post pictures of their daily activities. I love seeing pictures of her work For my boys, they help them with their homework after school and they are so excited to go and play games and have fun with other after school kids. They have Holiday and summer camps. For the Holidays my children went all day and they did many projects and had a great time! The teachers are so amazing, they all even came to cheer on my boys at their baseball games, with signs and t-shirts. If they doesn't show how caring these ladies are I don't know what does. They have an indoor play area and outdoor play area and they supply all the food; meals and snacks. Oh and they teach them Spanish! My children love going! I was so stressed about not having any help once I moved to Georgia, but these ladies have taken a huge burden off our shoulders and We are happy to know our children are safe and well taken care of! Thank you so much Happy Children's Daycare! You are part of our family!

Dear Ms. Leah,

I hope that all is well. We here at Happy Children's Day Care, LLC wanted to reach out to you and take the time to thank you for stopping by our center. We also would like to thank you for reaching out and communicating to us as to why our center did not meet your expectations. First of all, we sincerely apologize for your experience. As you may know, we work with children and our children is our number one priority. I wanted to clarify some things. Our Manager, Assistant manager, and myself-the Director are very well involved in all the classrooms and we fill in where necessary. We make it a rule to have 2 personnel in the classroom to watch the children. At the moment that you all arrived to the center, they were facilitating diaper changes and I was out on some errand runs. To better accommodate our parents we are open from 6AM until 7PM. We make sure that the children are attended to first and at times things may overlap and get busy. Due to our catering to the children and their schedules, at times things can be unpredictable as we work on kid time. We prefer not to have set appointments. We love that any parent interested in our center can come on in and see our daily routine. At the time of your visit to the facility, the Assistant Manager communicated to you all that I was out and would be back shortly, thus the waiting period. You were alone at the front desk, briefly, because the Assistant Manager was attending to a classroom while a diaper change was in progress and she communicated to you that she would be back to attend to you shortly. I can't stress it enough that our children come first and at the very moment you came to visit us, we were busy attending their needs.

We take pride in being a safe facility that has a door code that only our parents know. The UPS guy does not know the code and he was in fact let in by one of the personnel there. No one can just be let in without our knowledge.

We at Happy Children's Day Care, LLC thank you again for your interest in our facility and apologize that we did not meet your expectations. I hope that this letter has clarified the misunderstanding and that you may consider us in the future for you childcare needs. We may make others wait while your child is safe and in great hands, because to us they come first.

Sincerely,

Director
Jessica Javier

We absolutely love the care received at Happy Children's Day Care! The ladies are all very sweet and accommodating, as they show interest in each child individually. We love the close knit environment and how well our 1 y/o adjusted. We were so very relieved, our 1st grader has now joined him for camp!

This is hands down the best child care. The teachers are excellent alma with kids. They love kids and it shows that it's not just a "job". They go above and beyond. My boys never want to leave when I pick them up after work. You will not regret choosing Happy Children's Day Care. Their name says it all.
