About Yanira

I'm a preschool teacher and mother of a 5-year-old. I would describe myself as hardworking, friendly, and dependable. I enjoy working with kids because I know I am making a positive impact on their lives by helping shape their development, providing guidance, and being a positive role model. Working with children is incredibly rewarding to me as seeing them learn, grow, and succeed bring me so much gratitude. I started working with children 3 years ago and was inspired to do so by my daughter. She encouraged me to learn more about children's development as she grew which inspired me to pursue my career in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time, I like to go to the park with my daughter, visit Disneyland, the beach or go on walks with our dogs. I have my Bachelors in Child and Adolescent Development as well as my CPR and First Aid Certification and my infant and toddler units. My skills include being patient, understanding and having great communication skills.
