About Wendy

I live in Mar Vista and have two kids. I have12+ years of classroom experience working with K-8. . I currently part-time in an educational therapy practice and am pursuing my dyslexia specialist certification. I'm trained in the Orton-Gillingham methodology of teaching reading from the International Dyslexia Association (Los Angeles branch). I have training from Brainspring's Level I and II coursework, a doubly accredited Structured Literacy program. I can provide a range of support and strategies to accommodate students who struggle with reading and language disorders, comprehension, written expression, executive functioning and attention deficits.
