About Lora

As a Special Education professional, I pride myself on my ability to connect with students and support them in their paths to growth and learning while keeping parents up to speed and including them in this important process. I've worked with SPED students for the last six years and have a degree from Antioch University's Special Education Program (Mild/Mod). My years in the classroom have refined my ability to understand students' unique strengths and challenges from working with various types of learning styles, including ADD/ADHD, learning disabled, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and more. I still stay in contact with many former students who continue to let me know about their progress, which brings me such a sense of connection and accomplishment. In my free time, I coach volleyball and I was a swim instructor as well. I enjoy spending time with family too. Being outdoors is my happy place!
