Hi there! My name is Varinique, I'm 27 with experience as a daycare monitor, camp counselor and teachers assistant for 6 years. I graduated from Eastern Washington University. My BA is in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations and a double minor in theatre and journalism. My theatre background, combined with safety training and working with children over the years, I've learned to adapt to each child's needs. I've helped children with English, both in the classroom and as a tutor in college. I've managed huge groups of 25-35, of ages ranging from 2 - 14 yrs. What I enjoyed most is engaging with children, listening and making activities to create a fun environment. I strive to positively encourage children to safely step out of their comfort zone while giving the space for them to succeed. Laundry, cooking and light house-keeping are all can-do's. We had the absolute pleasure of having Varonique as our nanny, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! My daughter can be shy but she opened quickly to Varonique. Varonique exhibited an exceptional level of patience, always addressing our daughter’s needs and whims with a calm and loving approach. She dedicated quality time to engage with her, ensuring that every moment spent was filled with fun, learning, and genuine care. Some of the activities she organized were both entertaining and developmental, including jigsaw puzzles, coloring sessions, and watching movies. Varonique was proactive with her communication. She checked in with me, ensuring that any deviations from the regular schedule or any special requirements were promptly and efficiently addressed. Her initiative in maintaining open lines of communication made us feel secure and confident in the care our daughter was receiving. We are beyond grateful for the positive impact she has had on our daughter and our family as a whole. Any family would be lucky to have her!
