I have been a Postpartum Doula since 2009, specializing in non-medical, overnight help of newborns and their moms. A postpartum Doula's purpose is to support/help get families and their newborns off to great start through hands-on help, fact-based education and teaching through example. Services offered can vary according to your needs but might include: - help with pre-baby nursery set-up, - in-room hospital visit, - nutritional reminders/tips for mom, - breast or bottle feeding support and tips, - help establishing your new baby's routine, - instruction in baby care; bathing, swaddling, soothing, getting to sleep, knowing if baby is getting enough to eat, etc. - overnight help so mom and dad get as much recovery sleep as possible, - tips for dad and grandparents - and more. Through personal experience, I learned about the needs/benefits of postpartum help the first several weeks of bringing a newborn home and that has given me a heart and desire to be available to you.

Tracy was a postpartum night doula for our newborn son for two weeks, and was terrific with taking care of him and attending to his needs while us first time parents got much needed rest. Tracy is a "baby whisperer" and has so much valuable experience with newborns. We still use the routine and all of the tips/tricks Tracy taught us with our nearly 3 month old now and he is thriving! We highly recommend Tracy as a postpartum doula not only for her expertise with babies, but also because she is a genuinely kind and wonderful person who will help tremendously with the transition to parenthood.
