About Tori

Hello! I actually go by Teo, and I use they/he pronouns and want to work with people who are okay with that. I'm a recent college graduate with over 8 years of childcare experience. I have an encyclopedic knowledge of crafts, recipes, games, and stories and am a playful person in general. I'm great with kids, plants, and animals. As a former nanny, preschool teacher, and foster care visitation specialist, I've also worked with older youth and with infants. I have seen a lot of behaviors and worked with some pretty strong emotions. I am confident in my abilities and methods and am not easily fazed. I am patient and value hands-on activity away from screens. My personal philosophy is one of fostering independence and self reflection- I always look for ways to make children feel helpful and included. I do get occasionally light headed, so I usually keep a chair or stool in the kitchen just in case I need to sit for a moment.
