I understand how to navigate the complexities of the medical world and how to advocate for a patient. One thing you should know about me is I graduated from law school while pregnant with my second daughter. She was born with a rare genetic disorder. She had benign tumors in her brain, heart, kidneys and lungs resulting in epilepsy, developmental delay, autism, aggressive behaviors and extended hospital stays her entire life. I missed passing the bar exam by 10 points and spent the next 16 years staying home raising my girls to best of my ability. She passed away 9 years ago at 16 years old. I started a successful home staging business, wrote a memoir, Loving Tiara, for my 50th birthday and now I'm ready to find my way back to caretaking. I've helped care for my grandparents, my senior aunt after major back surgery, my father in law and most recently my best friend's mom who passed from lung cancer. Balancing a patient's quality of life is most important to me.
