About Thomas

Recently retired Associate Professor of English. Have been teaching, combined high school and university level, for 40 + years. Have tutored home bound students, taught learning challenged students, non-Native speakers of English overseas in Taiwan, and graduate students. Always aware of diversity issues, upbeat, easy going, respectful of students' learning styles and capable of teaching with a variety of engaging and inspiring strategies. Fun, personable, friendly and helpful, love teaching, recently moved to Bothell, WA. Wife is Taiwanese, an Elementary School teacher, teaches in a local children's school. Looking forward to tutoring those in need of my help and special English language insights.
