About Taylor

While I wasn't someone who knew I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was little, I could not be happier to call it my career now. I was quite shy growing up and really did not enjoy the academic side of school. I owe the most to the incredible teachers I had over the years for the success I have had in my life and hope to be that person for other children now. I have taught elementary inclusion education for five years. I have also tutored throughout my college and post grad years from pre-k all the way through high school, although I am a bit more comfortable with 8th grade and below. I have become flexible and creative in my teaching patterns. I feel it's very important to build trust and respect with each student to allow them to feel comfortable to express when they need more help or if something simply just doesn't make sense. I look forward to helping new students learn to love learning!
