About Amy

Empowering students to reach their full potential has been my primary focus for the past 15 years. I believe that neurodiversity is positive, but I also understand the immense frustration of not being able to harness your personal strengths and interests. I try to tailor my instruction to honor how your child's mind works best. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting them to personal interests, I foster genuine confidence rather than rote memorization. I have helped put together IEPs and 504s and aim to be a strong advocate for your child if desired. I prioritize open communication with you and your family to ensure our sessions remain productive and supportive. I work primarily with students with ADHD, LDs, and behavioral challenges, though I also tutor advanced students and students learning English as a Foreign Language. I look forward to celebrating your progress as we turn your biggest challenges into your greatest achievements.
