About Sydney

Hi there, thank you for considering me! I've always enjoyed spending time with older people and hearing their perspective on life. From a young age I was always with my great aunt, who is a victim of polio, so she is been paralyzed since I can remember. Accompanying my aunt and caring for her for the past several years. Within the past five years, my grandmother has developed dementia and intense anxiety so I have grown very close with her as well. I see these as golden learning opportunities and I'm happy to spend my time with seniors where as others see it as a burden.
