About Sydney

I'd describe my personality as adventurous, creative and caring. I like working with kids because they keep me active mentally and physically. I also enjoy being able to help teach their tiny minds new things. I have been a behavioral technician for a year and I have loved learning about the kids I've helped and teaching them new life skills. Currently I'm also working as a behavioral coach and it's been awesome helping the kids I'm working with to learn life skills. I started working with kids right after I graduated college with a BA in psychology. I knew I wanted to explore working with kids because I really enjoyed babysitting my younger cousins. I took many developmental psychology courses about childhood development and that really set it in my head that I wanted to do something with kids. One thing you should know about me is I am applying to graduate school for clinical psychology next year! My skills include: compassion & empathy, patience, problem solving, & communication.
