About Isabel

Hi there! I'm a third-year psychology student at Colorado State University. I absolutely love working with kids and am working towards a career in child/teen therapy. I worked for a year as a Behavioral Therapist at the Center for Autism and Other Related Disorders for children ages 2-17. I was trained in aggressive behavior management and how to safely perform CPR, manage seizures, and general first aid. I learned to adapt to each child's unique needs and hold their attention during lessons by implementing their interests. I also volunteer at an Equine Assisted Therapy Ranch whenever I find myself back home in New Mexico. I help guide children and adults in therapeutic equine riding, breathwork, and balance exercises. I have been babysitting for about eight years now for kids of all ages. I am skilled at cooking, cleaning, teaching, and creating fun/educational activities for kids. I would love to help you out and cultivate a fun yet safe environment for your kiddos!
