My experience servicing seniors has been a blessing. Let me start by sharing that I took care of my grandmother for many years. I was her companion and caregiver. From there I had the privilege of taking care of my mom. We built an apartment on to our home for her. I helped her in so many ways. I was her companion. I did light house keeping and did meal prep for her. She loved to go on outings. Years later my husband and I became part of Management teams in several Sr. Living communities where we had an apartment on site. We were available 24/7 for residents. I did whatever needed to be done. Responded to emergencies and helped the residents as needed. Some examples. Shopping for groceries and personal needs Driving to Drs appointments House and pet sitting ( private homes as well out side of the community) Caring for Senior's gives me great pleasure to help and encourage seniors in the last chapter of their lives. I always ask myself how would I want someone to care for my mom?
