About Susan

I have a lifetime of experience working with children. I began as a mother's helper at the age of 11 and never stopped caring for children, including raising two of my own and teaching 4 and 5 years old's for 27 years. My interests include handcrafts (sewing, knitting, quilting), light gardening, and cooking. I am looking to work with a family with a young child/children with whom I can share my treasure trove of teaching ideas and passion for reading; all while teaching life skills through play and daily experiences. With my vast skills and experience, I am able to provide a supervised, safe, and fun environment for your child/children. Our days will be filled with love, laughter, and learning as we explore the world together.
