About Stephanie

After three and a half wonderful years of nannying, I'm saying goodbye to my current family. I started caring for them when their son was 3 years old, and their daughter was six months. Now their youngest is a grown up girl starting school this fall and I m looking for a new family to join! Before moving to Portland I was an elementary teacher in Tulsa, OK, as well as Honduras. I grew up in Boston, MA and have been working in childcare since I was 14 years old. After receiving my degree in Early Childhood Education I moved to Honduras, Central America to teach in an American accredited bilingual school. I lived there for three years teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I then moved to Tulsa, OK where I taught 1st and 2nd. I am fun, patient, firm, and loving. I cherish the relationships I've built not just with the children, but the families I've worked with over the years. I enjoy building a partnership with parents, so as a team we can help their child flourish.
