Hi I'm Kaitlyn! I graduated Oregon State University with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Childhood Development in 2016. During my 4 years at OSU I volunteered in Africa and Thailand teaching English to local villagers in grades 1st-3rd and high schoolers. The summer of 2016 I was a student teacher at Bates Hall the OSU Childhood Development Center. During this time I worked in a Head Start classroom with 17 three, four and 5-year-olds. After graduating college I moved to Thailand to teach English to preschoolers. When I returned home to Bend, OR from Thailand I worked at Advocates for Like Skills for Opportunity working with children with disabilities for 3 years. I moved to Portland 2 years ago and currently work as a child development skills trainer at an elementary school here in Portland! I love the outdoors, traveling, and arts and crafts!
