About Sonya

Hi! My name is Sonya and I'm from Chicago! I am currently a senior at DePaul University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Urban Planning and Geography. I've had about 4 years of tutoring experience. I was a tutor at my high school's literacy center helping with writing and science. In college, I've done private tutoring for students who needed help in statistics and research methods. I've been on my university's deans list (3. 5 or higher GPA) freshman-senior year. Additionally, I've had 5+ years of childcare experience! I was an overnight camp counselor for two years and have done babysitting jobs regularly during the summer and school year. I have particular experience working with children who have learning disabilities and believe that I am a patient, kind, and reliable tutor.
