About Sherie

Howdy! I'm Sherie and I love supporting students on their learning journey! I've worked as a lead math instructor at Mathnasium, teaching k-calc and as a private tutor I have helped students with biology, history, language arts, research, and presentation classes. I provide direct instruction, lesson plans, practice problems, and homework help. As a tutor I prioritize building confidence and foundational skills that pave the way for more advanced subjects. And perhaps most important of all, instead of just regurgitating information, I teach HOW to learn and problem solve. I graduated high school in 2019 as Valedictorian with a 4. 64 GPA. School was my life. So when I say I've experimented with every study method and resource I could find, I mean it! It's exciting to find the right fit for your learning style (auditory, visual, kinetic and etc) and I've a lot of resources to help you do that! I look forward to working with you!
