About Shelby

I have 7+ years of professional experience in caring for kiddos from birth to 13 and beyond. Specifically, extensive experience in little ones from infancy to 5, and truly enjoy & embrace every stage of development that occurs along the way. I've cared for single child families, multiples, and up to 5 kiddos at one point. Additionally, I have extensive experience in household management such as grocery shopping, making appointments, food/dinner preparation, taking kiddos to appointments, & etc. I recently graduated from EMU & UM with a degree in Pediatric Medical Social Work, and a focus on Child Development. I am currently Infant/Adult CPR & First Aid trained, and took additional classes on BLW (baby lead weaning) & choking. I enjoy teaching little ones ASL (American Sign Language) so they can begin to communicate their needs ASAP! I truly embrace becoming a piece of each family I nanny for, and adore developing long lasting relationships. Looking forward to chatting soon!
