About Shelby

I did work as an English tutor at Christian University for their foreign exchange students for a semester. Other than that, I've mostly helped out on a volunteer basis. I was the go-to student/peer for help on classwork all of grade school, I helped my younger sister with her classwork, and -- whether it be reading tests or math homework. I am best at English at any level through college sophomores, but I would be very comfortable tutoring any category for grades kinder through eighth. My bachelor's was focused in English, business, and agricultural animal sciences. Before I changed majors, I was studying education and psychology, so I do have some knowledge in those fields. What sets me apart is my patience, flexibility in learning styles, and my ability to explain something without making somebody feel stupid.
