About Shannon

I like working with kids because I always feel as though I'm having as much fun as they are. They remind me to stay curious and joyful with the world. I'm looking for a job where I can connect with a family. I would love to get to know the kids interests and personalities, and have fun with them as we go along! I started working with kids at a local summer camp for children aged 3-17, and then I continued to work for the same school during the school year. I am currently the Division Leader for a sleep-away camp in Rhode Island. In my spare time, I like to spend my time outdoors as much as possible on walks or hikes. I also love to try new things such as guitar, painting and cooking! One thing you should know about me is that I am a positive person. I will always bring a smile with me and remind myself to live each day with making the most of it. My skills include communication, planning/activities, and problem solving.
