About Sara

Early on in my caretaking career, I worked as a paraprofessional for a young quadriplegic, fully ventilator dependent 4th grade boy. I eventually began providing care services at home, as well. His needs were extensive from transferring to and from wheelchair, bathing, feeding, and toiletry routines, to tracheotomy, ventilator operation and g-tube care. As my assignments branched out into senior care, I've had the pleasure of helping clients (and their families) from all different walks of life through what many can consider to be scary, confusing, and seemingly helpless events/situations that have come into their lives. With the educational background and experience I bring to the table, I have the ability to provide opportunities for clients to engage in a variety of stimulating activities and interactions, including with peers when possible. It is always my goal to perform all tasks with the compassion and dignity every client deserves.
