Hello my name is Kathleen, I have been a caregiver to the elderly since I was in my early twenties. It has always been instilled in me to honor and respect our elders. Care taking for the elderly is my passion and that is why I feel so blessed to be in this profession. I realize that companionship and encouragement are so important to my clients quality of life. In my most recent position I managed three total caregivers for 24hr care of an elderly client with early Dementia. I provided transportation, medication and home management. This includes grocery shopping and meal preparation. I am also experience with implementing physical and mental exercises given by the clients medical team. I understand that this time in my clients life can be difficult and it is my goal respect their independence while still providing the care they need. The most special part of my job is getting to know my clients and helping them have the best quality of life.
