About Sara

Hi there! I'm currently a high school substitute teacher as well as a personal aid for a lovely adolescent with ASD. I love both positions as it is my passion to connect with youth, especially those at a disadvantage. I love to help nurture people's self exploration, sense of personal agency and curiosity in the world! I'm studying to be a therapist and love exploring modalities like art and music therapy, ecopsychology and play! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am always learning! Some of my interests include hiking, biking, anything in nature, watercolor painting, anything musical, gardening and yoga! I love animals as well and don't mind caring for yours as needed. Currently my schedule doesn't have a ton of flexibility (though I do have some), and I am looking for something after school and or weekends until my availability opens at the end of May when I would love to take on more work.
