I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate, good listener and outgoing. I like caring for seniors because I believe they need someone that can support them with their needs; while being patient and encouraging. Helping them to stay positive and independent as long as they can. I know the importance of keeping seniors active with games, puzzles, walking. Caring for others began over 30 years ago. I took care of my grandmother for many years; as we wanted to make sure she could still stay in her home and be as independent as possible. I've been working in hospitals and doing HomeCare as well for over 20 years. I've worked in many different specialties. I have a wide range of skills. I'm spending more time doing HomeCare, as I can give the time that is needed and quality care to my clients! My skills include ambulating, feeding, bathing, companion, light housekeeping, errands, toileting, medications, cooking, CPR, First Aid, wound care, catheter care.
