About Sarah

I have worked as a private tutor on and off for the past 8 years for students ranging from 3rd-12th grade. I specialize in English tutoring for all grade levels as well as math up through Algebra 2, and tutor in all other subjects through middle school. Additionally, I have tutored multiple students in SAT test prep, on which I myself achieved a near-perfect score. I graduated from Northwestern University in 2022 with a major in Theatre and concentrations in writing and education. I currently work as a Substitute Teacher for Torrance Unified, and will be starting graduate school in the fall to earn my Masters in Education and English teaching credential. As a tutor, I prioritize creating a warm and encouraging environment where students feel truly motivated to learn and grow in their studies.
