About Mahima

I am a recent graduate from the University of Southern California with a B. A. in History (concentration in oral history and migration and displacement in South Asia and Europe in the 20th century). I am a hardworking, dedicated student with a passion for learning languages and social work. From 2010-14, I served as a teaching assistant for a state preschool program at the Irvine Early Childhood Learning Center and tutored local middle school students in social science, music, and English homework as a high school student at University High (Irvine). From 2014-17, I served as a tutor for the USC Joint Education Program for local high school students for SAT, literature, Spanish language, and history homework. In addition to receiving Foulke merit scholarship, USC Provost research fellowship, and Discovery Scholar distinction for my passion for humanitarian work and oral history, I have also received a 3. 7 GPA in college and a 4. 11 in high school.
