About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, committed, and understanding. I like working with kids because I admire their energy and creativity. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have open communication and encourages creativity. I love jobs that feel as if every day is a new adventure where I can mix things up! I officially started working with kids at age 16 when I worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard for the YMCA. I became certified in a variety of first aid and safety skills. I am also the oldest of five siblings who I babysit often. In my spare time I enjoy hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. I cook often for friends and spend time with my pets! I have an open mind! I am flexible regarding tasks that need to be done and hours for scheduling. My skills include preparing food and coming up with new recipes. I am independent, self sufficient, and good at finding creative solutions on the spot. I am empathetic, compassionate, and nurturing.
