About Skylar

Hi families!! My name is Skylar, I am a student at App State! I'm an elementary education major. I'm currently looking for some part-time babysitting gigs in the Wake Forest area (also open to pet sitting and house sitting!) Right now, I'm completely available and flexible for any hours (weekdays, weekends, mornings. I start student teaching this upcoming semester, so once that begins, my availability will likely shift to weekends and possibly some afternoon/evening hours. About me: • Training in Recognizing and Responding to Child Maltreatment + Shaken Baby Syndrome • 5 years of babysitting experience (infants through middle school) • Worked as a nanny for an amazing family for 3 months (school schedule wouldn't allow for longer-sadly!) • CPR/First Aid certified • Worked as a Montessori after-school teacher the past two years; lead position during summer camp • I babysat regularly for local Boone families and can provide references if needed!
