About Sarah

I am a current High School English teacher with experience in teaching college English. I strongly identify with the philosophy of cura personalis, or caring for the whole person. I honestly believe that in order to be a good teacher, you have to inspire your students, not only to learn, but to be better humans. If we are sending incredibly intelligent, educated, and learned individuals into the world but we have neglected their social and emotional well-being and awareness skills, then we have failed them. If a students' minds and spirits aren't nurtured, if we are expecting them to contribute to society
