In 2008, I took a break from my computer science career and spent two years teaching math in inner-city secondary schools in Washington DC. I taught a variety of math subjects. I enjoyed teaching, but I ended up returning to computer science because working remotely fit better with my family's lifestyle of moving frequently. I also started and led several Girl Scout troops, which was a lot of fun. My degrees are in computer science and I also minored in German. I would be comfortable tutoring in math, English, German, and computer science.
