About Samuel

Sam I am! I combine my Master's degree in Elementary Education with my customer service background to provide an inclusive, differentiated approach to education that focuses on an individual learner's needs and interests. I focus on providing effort-based praise, encouraging and supporting learners based on what they can do before, during, and after class. By praising effort and not giving power to labels like "gifted" or "slow", learners are able to develop confidence in their own abilities and take control of their habits. With compassion, patience, and an open minded approach, I can reach learners where they are. If they feel stuck or trapped in a subject, I am ready with a collection of tools, ideas and guidance to help them move forward in a way that makes sense for them!
