About Samantha

I am a professional artist, currently obtaining my Master's in Education and credentials to teach both Secondary English as well as Secondary Art. I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and a Minor in Art History. I have over 4 years experience teaching students K-12, including Special Ed, and over 10 years experience as an artist. As an artist I work in a variety of media, including but not limited to acrylic, oil and watercolor paints, charcoal, wood-burning/pyrography, papier-mache, and polymer clay. My hope as an art teacher is to help your child work towards their own specific goals as well as covering the basic skills and methods of drawing and painting. Whether your child is just beginning their journey as an artist, or honing their skills and exploring new mediums, I have the experience, skill, and patience to help them achieve their goals.
