About Samantha

Hello, I'm Sam! In 2013, I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and have continued my work in the field since. Over the past decade, my approach to caregiving has been shaped by my continual study of child development and neuroscience, years of experience as a lead teacher in high quality centers, and, most importantly, navigating motherhood as a stay-at-home mom for the early years of my son's life. As you can imagine, the latter helped to ground my caregiving skills. My focus for the children I care for is to foster a responsive connection to allow them to feel safe to play and explore the world with confidence. I love cultivating developmentally-tailored experiences for kids so they can thrive! I am eager to work with a family to provide care for 1-2 children 2-3 days a week, either in my own home or traveling to a family's home with my own 4-year-old. I'm excited to support my community by providing quality care and connection to families. I can't wait to connect!
