About Ruth

I have been tutoring and peer mentoring all throughout my career. Currently, I work as a peer mentor at Bellevue College for neurodiverse student populations. Most of my students are autistic, with many experiencing ADHA, anxiety and/or depression. As a peer mentor, I support my students with building schedules, developing strong study habits, engaging in Collaborative Problem Solving when faced with an problem, understanding assignment instruction etc. I am also currently tutoring 6th grade math, which I had previously done in high school as well. I am comfortable teaching most elementary subjects (K-6) and some high school subjects, depending on what they are. I am available for virtual tutoring session or in-person (Mondays/Wednesday/Fridays) just let me know what you prefer! With me, your child will stay on top of their academics, and have fun doing it!
