Hi my name is Rosa. I have more then 10 years of experience taking care of babies, toddlers, and kids. I'm great with kids and try making everything entertaining so the kids can learn and enjoy at the same time. I'm very friendly and learn quick. I can cook any type of meal.

Rosa was here for a short period of time with us. She worked 3 days a week for 3 hours as that was all she could give us. My job constantly fluctuates so at first it was pretty smooth sailing, I would bake during my down time as she would watch my baby. She started in the summer and she would bring her daughter here to play with my 6 year old. I would even share with her food for her to take home to her family. When my baby would sleep, she would help fold my laundry which was great. We had one incident where I was in a meeting in another room (usually I stayed in the same room since I wfh) and I heard a thump and my baby crying. That day my 6 year old was home and was in the living room with them. When I came out after my meeting and asked what happened my 6 year old told me Rosa dropped the baby who was about 8 months at the time. Rosa said she didn’t that she was trying to put shoes on him but he threw himself back. During the time he fell she was folding laundry on our sofa, so I’m not completely entirely sure what happened. After this incident, she suddenly had to go away for a month which left me to figure out my situation with my son during that time. I told her my goodbyes at that point assuming she wasn’t returning and my husband wasn’t happy at that point, but she said she’d like to continue with us. She came back in January and that was when I asked her to do certain things like watch the baby so he doesn’t throw his head back again and not to let him by our shoes (we don’t wear shoes in the house). I even asked her not to change his diaper on my 6 year olds bed on top of his blanket that he slept with. I feel like this probably annoyed her, but everything was in the living room. After that it felt as if there was some tension, but I just moved past it as I needed the help and I was pregnant. Rosa ended up calling me one day when I was at the doctor with my baby and told me her mom was really sick. I told her take all the time she needs as my cousin had passed and I had to attend his funeral, but for her to let me know how her mom was. I didn’t hear from her the next day, but the day after that she texted me her resignation. I had a feeling it was coming but I felt blindsided since when we were going to let her go, she asked to continue with us. She said she would work a few more days but then she said she got sick so we lost days. The entire situation was pretty upsetting, but when she left my baby thrived. He was able to crawl, stand, and walk when she left. When he was with her she would hold him all the time despite me asking her to do tummy time and put him on the floor when I would put blankets and mats down. All in all, it was a mixed experience. We were left to find another nanny, which I haven’t had much time to do, so I wfh full time with a toddler pregnant, but it’s been a blessing in disguise.
