About Rocky

During my undergraduate work at Sonoma State university completing my B. A. in Psychology, I volunteered as a math tutor for an adult for 6 months, and assisted in providing Homework Club, an after-school program for children, grades K-12 at an apartment community. At Sonoma State as well as Santa Rosa Junior College and College of Marin, I took courses in Education, Early Childhood Education, and Developmental Psychology. After graduating from Sonoma State, I worked as an After-School Classroom Leader in Cool School at Meadow View Elementary for about two years. In this after-school program I lead and mentored for one year a 1st and 2nd grade class, and for another year a 4th grade class along with varying K-5 grade groups as a substitute. Then during the last year, I have assisted to facilitate the daily routines among 4Cs preschools throughout Sonoma County as a preschool teacher.
