About Rochelle

As a teen I babysat my brother, neighborhood and church friend's children. I continued my interest in working with children by earning my Master Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota. Part time jobs in college included, Teachers on Call (a temporary job agency), Kinderberry Hill Daycare and preschool, Wilson Library Circulation Department and the U. S. Army Reserves. After graduating from college I substitute taught for AISD, taught at Austin International School and Strickland Christian School. When I had my first child in 2006 I began watching children in my home both part and full-time. 2017 until 2020 I held a nanny position with one family for over 2 years caring for their infant and preschool age daughters and doing light cleaning, cooking and organizing within the household until the family moved 2020. In 2021 I began substitute teaching with RRISD and at Valor Charter School. In 2021 I accepted a special educational assistant position in RRISD.
