About Rebekkah

I have been around children my whole life, and have and taking care of them for almost 20 years now. At 11, I was a mother's helper for a family of seven. I have been a junior counselor, a head counselor, a live-in nanny, a date-night babysitter, and a nanny for infants through 13-year-olds. I have always loved being around children and have always known I want to (eventually) be a mama. I have a Masters in Developmental Psychology, specializing in the development of helping and prosocial behaviors - and have been working with infants and children in a research setting for about 10 years now. I'm currently in a PhD program at UC - I just finished my first year! My summer schedule is wide open, and I only have one class a day in the Fall, so I'd love to start something more long term with a family nearby. My hobbies include cooking, reading, scrap booking (and being crafty), exercising, and being around other people!
