About Rebecca

Thank you for taking the time to read about me! My name is Rebecca, but people usually call me Becca or Bec. My pronouns are she/her. I've been a counselor for about eight years now. I've been a volunteer for the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) since I was a teen. My brother has a bleeding disorder, and we have been a part of the community since he was a toddler. I am a head counselor for their summer family camp, on the camp planning committee, and chaperone at conferences held throughout the year. I was also a sailing instructor for people with disabilities for four years. I assisted people with physical disabilities and people who were neuron-divergent learn how to sail. Every lesson was tailored to the individual, employing different learning techniques and physical tools for each student. I strive to make every person feel loved and empowered. I hope to bring that to your home! **Renewing my First Aid/CPR in June 2021, Mental Health First Aid certified.
